I wanted to create a single layered card but couldn’t help myself by matting my stamped piece of card stock. With two of the cards I masked of the area to creat a void where I wanted to stamp the sentiment. One I created a frame and another a bordered edge letting the stamp go over the edges giving the image more movement.
Using the brush end of an Old Olive Stampin’ Write Marker I made a pool of ink on an Acrylic block and picked the colour up using a Blender Pen to colour the Holly leaves. I then applied Cherry Cobbler Dazzling Details to the berries and left over night to dry completely.
Using Jet Black Staz On ink to stamp sentiment and Basic Black Stampin’ Write Marker create borders and other accents.
Using the Cherry Cobbler card stock I matted the stamped image and attached the ribbon and then to the Whisper White card base.
