I’m June Kempster, an Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator and founder of Sand June Crafts.

I am an avid paper crafter and have been a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator since Mar 2010. I love to teach others this great skill. I never get tired of seeing the smiles on peoples faces when they discover they can do it too!

Stampin’ Up! gives me the opportunity to reach further afield than my own little back yard. With the wonders of the internet and my website I can teach you about paper crafts. You can shop with me 24/7  without stepping out of your front door and even whilst still in your pajamas if you wish.

I live on beautiful King Island in the Bass Straight between the states of Victoria and Tasmania, Australia. Famous for it’s Beef, Cheese, Crayfish (Lobster) and more recently some of the top Golf Courses in Australia. I don’t let the remoteness of my location be a burden, I am inspired by it’s tranquility and I speak the international language Paper Craft. I run my business from home and it helps me to deal with being an empty nester. My husband Peter and I have a Brady bunch(his and hers) now all grown up and living their lives all around our great nation of Australia.

I have a diverse background in the business and hospitality world. I am a qualified florist although I don’t work in the industry any longer but I do feel there is a familiarity between this and my paper crafting just different mediums. I can’t draw but I love to colour. I love to garden but its torture on my body and live my garden fantasies through my dear beloved husband who is my minion in that area.

We love to travel and have seen some beautiful parts of our home country Australia. I’ve just acquired a passport and now we are building our bucket list of ‘places to see before we die’.
