On a personal note
I know I have not posted on my blog for a week or so. I battle with depression, some of it environmental and was at it’s worse with the death of my son two and half years ago but mostly it is a predetermined in my genetic make up. I rely on medications that help balance the chemistry of my body but we all face times in which we can’t control. Of recent weeks a few things have reared their ugly head and I have had to take some time out to deal with it. I am very fortunate to have a great husband, family, friends and community that give me unconditional support. I am aware some don’t have that support but you are not alone. Beyondblue.org.au is a great resource available and I encourage you reach out if you have a feeling a sense of helplessness.

Thank you Vicki for your kind words. Im trying lessen the stigma of mental health. The more we talk about it and show that it effects every day people like our selves then everyone else will understand our journeys. I wish you well.
